We Offer Three Kinds of Events

Conversation Starters

Get Togethers

LBTS@Home

…where you can listen to the stories of our experts by experience. We talk about topics such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, traumas, and more.

…in which you will get to know the other participants by interacting in a warm and cozy setting. Together, you will talk about topics close to your heart.

…in which you can join an online event from the comfort of your own home. You will listen to the story of one of our experts by experience, and connect with others in breakout rooms.

No matter what,

our values stay the same.

Solidarity & Inclusion

We value each individual but understand that not everybody experiences things the same. At LBTS, inclusion and solidarity go beyond diversity as they promote an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and respected.

Personal Experiences

We are united by mental health issues, whether it effects us personally or someone we care about. We use these experiences and the empathy we have gained from them to guide and support others.

Sharing shame-free

We do not exclude people for having different opinions nor do we judge people for what they have gone through. LBTS does not shy away from “taboo” or controversial subjects and we encourage people to speak freely, as long as it does not harm others.

A safe space

We enact specific practices to ensure people’s safety and comfort. These include, but aren’t limited to, trigger warnings, bracelets indicating participation preferences, and access to volunteers who provide support during events.

It's inspiring to see that other people's
experiences can give your recovery a boost.

I finally felt heard and understood. It was a very safe space.

Support us

Working on a healthier world, together.

With your help, we can continue to spread our message and prevent our families from losing more loved ones to mental illness. Every donation is used to educate, prevent and support. We hope to be able to keep helping individuals within their healing process and all others connected to this topic. Let’s make that change together.
